Breakthrough Strategies - Never Give Up

Never give up is a must know breakthrough strategy!  Most people don't receive the BREAKTHROUGH they desire because they give up too soon.  Often they give up on the very doorstep of breakthrough because the appearance of the situation did not seem like they were that close to breakthrough.

In Napoleon Hills book THINK & GROW RICH he states, "More then five hundred of the most successful men this country has ever known told the author their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them. Failure is a trickster with a keen sense of irony and cunning. It takes great delight in tripping one when success is almost within reach." (pg 5)

So this is why people don't receive the breakthrough. Look at which point it actually comes. Breakthrough happens one step beyond FAILURE.  So many people are afraid of what people will think if they fail so they spend all their lives trying to please other people. They spend all there lives staying in comfort zone instead of stepping out in faith, because they have been told failure is bad.

The TRUTH is that you can only fail if you GIVE UP!  So if you NEVER GIVE UP you really can't fail in a terminal sense.  Sure we have all failed but as long as you don't stay down and keep moving forward you will eventually meet your success.

So if you are having a tough go in the current economy...DON'T GIVE UP! You are very very close to your breakthrough.  F.A.I.T.H. IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT.

Good advice Chuck. Especially now when we are likely to see a mass exodus of agents who simply cant make it!

Funny that I see your blog.... I had an agent who through in the towel and moved to another city.  This was 3 weeks ago.  In the three weeks, we have sold one of her listings she had as $1.15mm and got two more listings over $1mm.  Mind you, we will pay her a referral as the call was going to go to her.....but she is freaking out over the decision. When it stops it stops and when it goes it goes.  It is just waiting for the go part that is frustrating.

On the flip side greedy note, we have lost 4000 agents here in Austin and that make our world much easier.  Austin lost a $60mm producer as well.  We just keep moving up by attrition.  Last year we were #55 in Keller Williams worldwide, now we are $18....and our business is down 20%.
