Think The Truth

To think the truth you of course have to know the truth.  The truth may actually surprise you?  Some of you may not agree with the TRUTH.

Lets look at the market.  You hear the reports on the news that the economy is suffering and the housing market is down, you believe it and start acting accordingly by tightening up your spending and preparing for less sales in the coming months.  By doing this you tell yourself the truth is the economy is bad and its a struggle to sell houses.

However, the TRUTH is not that. Jesus said that knowing the TRUTH would set you free.  Being "saved" and calling yourself a Christian does not set you free.  Knowing the TRUTH sets you free. You see to know the truth is to actually live like Jesus did and to think like Jesus did.  Jesus was the way, the TRUTH and the life.

The TRUTH is a way of thinking...the Christ Mind in you.  The Christ mind in you does not look at appearance and get uptight by the economy.  The Christ Mind knows that God my supply. God is my economy.

This is not that hard to do because the TRUTH is in you. You simply have to think the TRUTH, speak the TRUTH and stand firm in the TRUTH, not hampered by appearances.

This does require some effort and perseverance at first.  The old thoughts WILL chase you down because they don't want you to leave them.  They want to hold you captive.  However, you do want to move to your promised land and by being and thinking the TRUTH you will get there.

Maybe its health you want.  Think health - picture your perfect body and picture yourself doing the things you want to do!

If its more sales you want.  Picture checks coming in.  Picture new buyers and sellers happily working with you!  Do this often, joyfully, expectantly, and with supreme faith in the TRUTH.

Watch Your Focus

We do bring about in our lives what we focus on.  I was talking with someone this morning and they are doing some of the things I coach people on, but as they were explaining their situation I caught something.

Even though this person is doing good things that will lead to good results - they had a BLOCK.  This block is blocking their good.  This agent mentioned he had ONE deal pending and that is just how it is and that's what he keeps thinking about...THE LACK OF SALES.

So even that he is doing a lot of other things right, the FOCUS on the LACK OF SALES is currently attracting in what he is focusing on WHICH IS THE CONTINUED LACK OF SALES.

Then he asked, "so do I just not think about it when the thought comes up...what do I do?"

I said, "You can't resistant the thought because it will just keep coming back. What you need to do is BLESS the thought and then let it go. Turn it over to GOD.  Then have the FAITH by moving forward in certainty that good things (OF GOD) or coming to you. As that LACK thought comes back just keep blessing it and lifting it up to the Lord and sooner then you know it your FAITH will start to move MOUNTAINS. And no good thing will GOD (*who sees your demonstration of FAITH) withhold from you!"

PEACE!

Softball - One Week Later

For those who followed my softball blog you might have wondered what happened last week with our lose.  So I am feeling better today about talking about it.

We had the based loaded in the bottom of the last inning with 2 outs trailing 9-6.  Brandon Erickson was up and hit a line drive up the middle.  Al Wolfe was on 2nd base and had to dance a bit to not get hit by the ball.  I was on third and scored on the hit.

As I turn around I see the umpiring waving the play dead calling base runner interference on Al Wolfe.  Meaning that he got in the way (between a fielder and the ball) to mess up the fielders play on the ball.

Anyone who knows the rules understand that this call is something that is rarely needed to be called. It only happens when the runner goes out of there way to distract the fielder.  The umpire said Al interfered with the center field...again not possible to do when you are running from second base.

Al was just trying to get out of the way and he did a good job doing that.  So that play end our season.  We would have been down 9-7 with a chance to tie with the next batter. Because of the call our team and fans were in an uproar.

It ended in some of us getting kicked out of the complex.  I sent apologies and I think its all good now.

What I learned -

1. Don't swear at umpires.  If they don't know what they are doing they are not going to admit it so its not worth it.

2. Forgiveness- I forgave everyone involved.  I think thats came back.  Still need the league to not kick our team out of the league for next year.  But I think since Jesus taught forgiveness and this is a church league that they will also forgive.

3. Its only a game. Let it go and have fun!

I'll Post a Blog While I Wait

I am helping my brother out today. He is in Vegas and not able to do a fantasy football draft. So I am at my computer waiting to pick for him.  The draft is supposed to start at 12 noon (central). Its 12:30 and the commissioner does not have it up and running yet.  I am showing homes in a couple hours and don't want to let my brother down but it does not look like I will be able to complete his draft.

I was in this league for years and dropped out this year...it was these sort of things that had me say its time to move on.  Of course I thought I would help my brother out.

Its a great lesson though. When you choose to move on- MOVE ON!  ... I am sitting here and learning the lesson one more time.  I did not want to be in the league and by doing the draft for my brother I did not fully move on.  Now I am slightly frustrated in this moment.  I rarely get frustrated, but the lesson is MOVE ON!  Don't go back...just MOVE ON!

Its all good! Your going to have some bad last picks when its on auto draft - Curt!  Forgive me!

I hit the 100,000 point mark today!

This week I have actually been slacking on my blogging a bit.  However, I still got there. I joined on March 5th, so I have been on a strong pace all year.  I am looking to take some time off next week so I am in the office getting as much done as I can today!  Have a blessed weekend! - Chuck

Fantasy Football Time

I have noticed a few post on here about fantasy football. I am a fantasy football player. I used to be more of a fantasy football guru.  As of this moment I have not looked over anything for any of my upcoming drafts.  I have other things that take priority at this time.

I have two drafts next week so it should be interesting to see how I do.  I had two teams that did well for me last year and a third above average team. I decided to drop out of one league.  I figured I could only handle two leagues.

Of course the league I dropped out of my brother needs me to draft for him.  I can do that online.  I told him he needs to send me some information because I have no clue who to draft.  Some of the people I know in the leagues I am in will start talking about rookies and where free agents are and I am totally lost.

I did not know that I would ever see the day that I lost track of this stuff.  I used to be really-really into it. I was wondering what I would do for fun now that softball is done and I guess this is it.  Go Vikings!  Go Unstoppable Power (my teams name).

I AM FATHER GOD'S

I thought I would share some great affirmations of the love that OUR FATHER - GOD has for us.  I got them at today's Faith @ Work lunch.

I am loved by my Father.

I am pleasing in my Father's eye.

I have purpose in my Father.

God is not ashamed of me.

God has forgiven me.

I am accepted by my Father.

I am secure in my Father.

My Father does not judge me.

When you do not feel like you are worthy of Gods love this would be a great list to reference.  There are many scriptures I could send you for you to meditate on for each affirmation if you need them!  Bless your day!

Cambridge Lutheran Season End

After losing our first game on Saturday we battled back to win 3 games later on Saturday.  We won 9-8 on a sac fly (runner score from 2nd base on an over throw) to beat Calvery Lutheran Church.

The next game we beat Grace Gospel 13-7 and the final game we defeated Cross Point #1 13-11 in another good game.

Our season end this afternoon with a 9-7 loss vs. Springvale. I am right now feeling sick as the game ended on a base runner interference call on our team.  It was a hit up the middle that our runner at to wait to let it go by. Based on the rule book that was not the correct call and the other team apolgized as they know it was not the right call. We would have had the bases load with 2 outs and the tieing run on second, so I guess we will never know if we really lost.

We play hard and I know nothing that is ever taken from you will be kept from you...it always comes back.  Unfortunately after the game we (myself and a couple other players) had poor decision making and gave the umpire and the league commissioner an earful.  Which after stepping away from the situation was not called for and certainly not Representative of Jesus and how he would have reacted. And for that I apologize to anyone and everyone for my team and my own behavior.

I post this because those who followed my blog know that I am a die hard softball player and competitor.  Life sends you lesson every day and everyway.  When Jesus was treated wrongly he kept quiet and took the flogging.

I have to say whether it was the worst call ever or not, I want to be like Jesus and be quiet and in the trial.  It shows I have a lot to learn.  Life is a process. You are in the process. Love the process and forgive others and yourself.  Learn the lesson and turn the other cheek.  Its much better then sitting here now wishing I would have kept my mouth shut.  Peace and God Bless!
