Exploding Through Barriers - Revisited

Right now I am noticing a lot of people who are pretty stuck.  Perhaps it's a Realtor who just cannot seem to get a transaction to come together.  Many times its potential seller who is behind on their home payment and does not know what to do.  Other times it's simply people that are not happy with certain areas of their life. Many people are facing barriers that seem insurmountable.

I happen to believe what Jesus said, "All things are possible for he who believes."

Here is another part of the daily declaration I say:

"I am exploding through barriers that at one time seemed insurmountable. I believe the impossible becomes possible with time, trust, talent and endless trying. I will empty my wallet into my mind, so my mind can fill my wallet. I am no longer bound by the limiting beliefs of my society, parents, or my past. I am breaking to my destiny by breaking through every barrier that would hinder me. My mind is made up, thus circumstances are aligning themselves in my favor. I visualize vividly and verbalize veraciously, so I will soon actualize automatically."

Let's imagine that you agreed with this statement.  Then would anything be impossible for you?  It could take you some effort to see your beliefs come to pass.  You might even have to take care of you mind by reading some books, attending seminars, or hiring a coach.

What are you going to do? Your destiny is calling for you!

Cambridge Lutheran Church Softball falls to 7-5 with loss

I don't really like talking about the loses on here.  This one hurts a little.  But I know I have a few faithful readers so I am following through with the weekly softball post after we (Cambridge Lutheran Team #1) loses 15-13 at Salem tonight in Dalbo Area softball league action.

We scored 9 runs in the first inning and against one of the bottom teams in the league you would think that would hold up.  Unfortunately we had a terrible 3rd inning defensively and gave 9 runs back and we did not hit well after the first inning so we lost.

Rob Willits lead the team tonight going 3 for 5 with 5 RBI.

This makes are game next week real pivotal.  If we lose we will likely be the 8th seed in the tournament and if we win we will probably be the 5th seed.  Either way its all good we have to play well in the tournament to win so the seed won't matter a lot but I would rather be the 5th or 6th seed.  Next week we finish up the regular season at home verses a tough Karmel #2 team.

Choose to Win Daily!

A lot of people like to make excuses.  Often we make excuses and don't even know it. For example if you are blaming the market or the economy for your poor sales performance - THAT IS AN EXCUSE!

We make the choice whether to have a productive day or not. It's all up to you. I am not immune to times of pointing my fingers at something other than me.  Thus I have learned that I need a reminder that I have a choice to do what I need to do.

Here is another part of the daily declaration that I say that serves as a great reminder:

"Instead of using my energy to make excuses I chose to use my energy to make progress. I was not born a winner or loser, but rather a Chooser, thus I chose to win daily.  I will not be broken by adversity but rather I will use adversity to help me break records. I know that within any pain lies hidden power and harnessed power can be used to create profits. Trouble never comes to a woman or man unless she brings a nugget of gold in her hand. I may look like a caterpillar, but I see myself as a butterfly flowing freely through the sky."

So are you choosing to win today?  Or would you rather make excuses?  Sure there might be some adversity to overcome.  But adversity is good because it can be an opportunity for tremendous breakthrough! It's up to you!  You HAVE THE POWER within you to overcome, win and transform into the person you were created to be!

BE who you were created to BE!

Kids and Work...do they mix

Good thing its Sunday, so its not a high pressure work day, but I am in the office just trying to get a few things done and I am working in the computer workstation area where there are three computers so I can work on one computer and my kids can play on the other computers.

This set up is good because then I can help the kids with the computers if they have trouble, but its also bad because they have a question about every 3.5 seconds.  So I have not done much yet, except this and getting this post done is a challenge.

I guess the bonus is that they gave me material for a post.  There is no one else in the office for them to distract when they start pulling each others hair, so that's another plus.

Most of the time my kids are good and I do bring them to the office almost once a week and on showings maybe once a month.  So kids and work do mix if you don't mix them too often.

ON HOLD...someone please take my call!

As I write this I have been on hold for about 10 minutes with a credit union that is handling a closing/financing for a buyer of mine. The loan officer is on vacation and the lot was suppose to close yesterday but it did not so now I need to find the right contact and connect them with Service Link who is handling the closing for the BANK (foreclosure).

That's not the point of the blog. My point is most of the time we are so busy that we don't answer God's call.  He is their to help us and direct us, but much like the hold music I am hearing right now we are so busy "assisting someone else now" that we don't have time to talk with God.  Perhaps like my transaction - we don't even know how to contact Him.

I want you to know that God wants you to call on him. HE WILL take your call no matter what you have done in the past to separate yourself from HIM.

I am still on hold with the credit union, but I have direct connection with God. Its a good feeling!  Peace!

Saving Money vs Making More Money

I have been noticing lately how so many people are getting up tight about the economy, gas prices and so on.  I understand how this happens.

However, I believe we live in an abundant universe that is friendly and compliant.  God is my supply!  God is my ecomony!

The trouble is most people have put God in a box.  So He can do only God in a box things for you.  Which is not much...

So I have decided to Trust God (things unseen), not the things seen which is what most people do.

Instead of saving money and tightening up I am simply asking God to give me ideas to make some more money.  Then the ideas I like - I am and will act on them.

This post is a good read for those who want to know where their level of trust and faith with God is with the issue of money...so where are you at?

How did I do that?

Since last night I keep thinking about a play I made in our softball game.  There is a great lesson in this post so read it through...

I sit and wonder how did I make that play?

Here is what happened. I was playing shortstop and someone hit a hard it ball between my position and third base I got a good break on the ball and made an all out dive for the ball.  I stretched as far as I could and caught the ground ball. Roll to sit on my butt, threw the ball sitting down and got the runner at first by a half a step. It was one of those plays that would have got "web jem" on Sportscenter.

So whats the lesson(s) you ask:

1. I never practice that play in live action.  But I practice that play in my mind daily.  I VISUALIZE me making that play.  You see the subconscious mind does not know the difference between real action practice or visualization of doing it... so VISUALIZE what you want to happen in your life! See it happening in your mind first and then opportunities will come your way.

2. Right before that play I made an aweful throw and the runner got an extra base.  Instead of getting down on myself I let the play go.  A lot of times when people mess up they beat thereself up and miss the oppotunity that normally follows.  If you mess up, get back up and expect to do great things.

Cambridge Lutheran Pulls Out Big Win Over First Place Team in Softball This Week!

Coming into tonight Lewis Lake Team #2 and Oxlip Free Church were tied for first place at 8-2, but a solid game for Cambridge Lutheran Team #1 and we pull out a 12-5 win on the road in Ogilvie, MN.

The big inning came in the top of the first when we scored 6 runs thanks mostly to a series of walks and errors by Lewis Lake.  After that we plate 2 runs in the 3rd, 5th and 6th and held on for the 12-5 win.

We had great pitching and good defense this week.  If we play like this the rest of the year we will be tough to beat.  We are 6-1 in road games this year and only 1-3 at home (7-4 overall - which I believe will have us tied for 4th in the league with two games left).  Next week we play at Salem Lutheran Church in Dalbo, MN.  Salem is near the bottom of the league standings but are much better then their record.

Once again I led the team in hitting going 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs.  Over the last 4 games I am 15 for 17 hitting with 17 RBIs and have a .761 overall batting average for the entire season.

Stop and think about what you are thinking about!

"As he thinks within himself, so he is." Proverbs 23:7

Many times we are not reaching our full potential because we are thinking in a defective pattern. We can not think negatively and live positively. We have to change our thinking pattern so that we will succeed. We can't think failure and live in success. Our lives will follow our thoughts. What we think is the life we will lead. When we think negatively we attract a negative environment. Its only when we change our thinking patterns to positive that we will lead lives of positively. Believe for the best and we will achieve only the best. We all need to set our mind to higher things and have the life we deserve.

Believe in yourself!
God Bless!

Appreciating the little things! Do you?

Your life will start to take off when you take time to appreciate the little things.  Are you thankful for certain blessing in your life?  Are you thankful for the wonderful creation God has surrounded us with? How about your eye sight? Hearing? Your health? That you have a roof over your head? The list goes on...

Many of these things are not little...but I am not so sure most people are thankful for them.  Here is a great post that I thought I would share in case you missed.  I read this and so someone who appreciated the little things (you'll get even more out of it):

Find a penny pick it up, please! by Barbara Ries
